The competition in the field of science, innovations and initiatives is held at the initiative of the Governor, by the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Stavropol Territory. The purpose of the contest is to identify and support the talented youth of the region who have made a significant contribution to the social and economic development of Stavropol.
The Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirovich Vladimirov addressed a welcoming speech. He expressed his gratitude to the young scientists, their parents and mentors. This year, 92 people took part in the competition. Award 2020 from the hands of the head of the regional administration received 17 people.
Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by 2 laureates. Prize 2020 was awarded to:
· Alena Yurevna Ozheredova, graduate student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources. The supervisor is Alexander Nikolaevich Yesaulko, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources and the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture.
· Dmitry Eduardovich Chervyakov, graduate student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Supervisor - Svetlana Nikolaevna Lutsuk, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor.
With graduate students shared the joy of victory as Acting Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Ivan Atanov.
The objectives of the competition are to increase the interest of youth in participating in active social, research, scientific and professional activities, to create and develop a system of “social elevators” for award winners and talented youth from rural areas, and to increase public status for award winners and their mentors.
