Federal Educational and Methodological Association Meeting on Economics and Management

On the basis of the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov hosted a joint meeting of deans, heads of departments of economic faculties of universities and members of the section on economics of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the field of economics, management and the Federal Center for the Management of Financial Markets to improve students' financial literacy.

Over 70 representatives of higher education institutions attended the event. Among the agricultural universities, the meeting participants were: Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russian State Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev, Oryol State Agrarian University named after N.V. Parachin. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the scientific community from St. Petersburg State University, Volgograd State University, Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), Kazan State University, Perm State National Research University, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Institute of International Law and Economics named after A.S. Griboedova and others.

During the meeting, the main directions of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association activities in 2020 were discussed, as well as issues of the development and implementation of educational programs based on the requirements of Federal Educational Standard 3 ++.

Special attention was paid to the formation of the necessary competencies for future graduates taking into account modern business requirements. The discussion discussed the formation of general professional and professional competencies in the preparation of bachelors and masters in the fields of "Economics" and "Management".

At the end of the meeting, the results and prospects of the project to improve the financial literacy of students of non-economic areas and specialties were presented.
