Research on R&D topics commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory

This year, adverse weather and climate conditions develop: warm winters, lack of moisture, spring frosts, which allows, thanks to research, development and technological work, not only to systematize and analyze data, but also to apply new knowledge to compare and improve existing technology. Research on the topics of development and technological work was carried out by scientists of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The group of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources and Ecology and Landscape Architecture under the leadership of the Dean, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko conducted surveys and observations on the topics of scientific research, experimental design and technological work (R&D) commissioned by the Ministry agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.

The working group includes: Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor O.I. Vlasova, Candidates of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professors E.B. Drepa, Yu.A. Bezgina, S.A. Korostyleva, I.A. Volters, Senior Lecturer, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences L.A. Mikhno, Assistant D.I. Ivannikova and Technician Stanislav Pasko. Studies are carried out on the basis of large farms in Stavropol, which are strategic partners of the Faculties.

A distinctive feature of farms where soil and plant samples are taken, surveys and observations on the topic “Development of scientifically based recommendations to improve the agro technical efficiency of the process of cultivation of crops under direct sowing technology” is that along with the introduction of new technology, farms do not refuse traditional and minimal technology. This contributes to the implementation of another research topic “Conducting research to determine the state of crops of crops using remote sensing techniques.”

Samples were taken in the SEC collective farm “Giant” of the Blagodarnensky city district, LLC “Khleborob” of the Petrovsky city district and LLC “Krasnoselskoye” of the Grachevsky municipal district.
