VIII international scientific-practical conference "Innovative aspects of the development of service and tourism"

The VIII international conference "Innovative aspects of the development of service and tourism" was held at the faculty of socio-cultural service and tourism, as part of the 85th scientific and practical conference. Communication took place in the form of an online conference on the ZOOM platform. The moderator of the conference was Anna Grigoryevna Ivolga, deputy dean for scientific work.

Welcoming remarks were made by:

· Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Work, Doctor of Economic Sciences Aleksey Nikolaevich Bobryshev

· Head of the Department of Promotion of Tourism Resources of the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory Igor Vladimirovich Bolotov

· Acting Vice-Dean of the Faculty of SCS & T - Ivan Ivanovich Ryazantsev.

The online conference was attended by employees of the Department of Tourism and Service - V.S. Varivoda, Yu.M. Elfimova, A.G. Stroeva, undergraduate of the second year of study - I.D. Shahramanyan, as well as representatives of Utena University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania) - Ramute Narkuniene, Rasa Brajuliene; Geographical Institute "Jovan Zvidic", Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Serbia) - Milan Milenkovic; Esterhazy Karoli Robert University (Hungary) - Zoltan Buidosho.

The conference participants were presented with diverse theoretical and practical results of information, natural science, economic and sociocultural studies, which made it possible to analyze and generalize the existing concepts of tourism and service development.

The format of the conference made it possible to discuss the most pressing problems and prospects for the development of the tourism industry and service not only in Russia, but also in neighboring countries, as well as current trends in innovative development.
