During the webinar, emphasis was placed on the increasing criminalization of the economic system in Russia, an increase in the number of new types of crimes related to deficiencies in the legal regulation of management processes, the use of financial resources, and the lack of effective state control over economic processes. One of these threats to economic security is raiding, which in recent years has become widespread in the Russian Federation.
The lesson for students was held by Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor of the Department of Public Administration of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, member of the Council of five research institutes and industrial enterprises of the Federal Property Management Agency Albert Valentinovich Pavlyuk.
The event was attended by students of the Accounting and Finance Department of the specialty "Economic Security". The organizer was the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance.
The teacher spoke generally about the raiding situation in Russia. From his words, students learned that in recent years raider seizures have become a widespread phenomenon in our country, and this is due to the fact that a significant number of property in Russia, in particular enterprises, use gray and shadow shades in their activities tools and schemes, that is, when doing business they use illegal and uncivilized methods.
Albert Valentinovich emphasized that the more transparent and market a company is, the less interesting it is and subject to raiders and corrupt officials. At the same time, there has been a positive change in the fight against raider seizure of property. This is primarily due to the amendments to the current legislation, as well as to the interest of state bodies in the rule of law and the development of the economic component of the state.
Many examples and schemes of raider attacks in our country and abroad were given.
At the end of the webinar, Alber Valentinovich emphasized that today the Russian legislation does not contain a definition of raiding, and that the urgent task for the state is to develop a federal law that will be able to effectively deal with the prerequisites of raider attacks and help preserve the country's economy.
In conclusion, students asked their questions: How to create an effective security system in order to counter the threat of intellectual raiding? Where to go for protection in case of capture or attempted raider capture? Is it possible to return the property (territory / business) if the seizure has already taken place? How to resist raiders? - and online they received comprehensive answers to them.
