International scientific-practical conference in conjunction with the University "Turan-Astana" (Republic of Kazakhstan)

The international scientific and practical conference was held on the Zoom platform. The aim of the conference was to discuss the problems of transformation of the economy and financial system of the two countries in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The international scientific-practical conference covered a wide geography of participants: Department of Leasing Administration of DBK-Leasing JSC, Nur-Sultan (Republic of Kazakhstan); Institute of International Transport Communications of the Russian University of Transport, Moscow; Smolensk State University, Smolensk; Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don; Orenburg State University, Orenburg; North Caucasus Federal University; Stavropol branch of PJSC Sberbank of Russia, Stavropol.

The organizers were: the faculty of the department "Financial Management and Banking" and the University "Turan-Astana" (Republic of Kazakhstan). The conference "Transformation of the financial system of Russia and Kazakhstan in the context of the coronavirus pandemic" was held as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker Al Farabi and the 175th anniversary of the great poet - enlightener Abay.

The welcoming speech to the participants was said by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexei Nikolaevich Bobryshev.

The event was opened by the head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking of the SSAU, Professor Julia Mikhailovna Sklyarova.

Students and undergraduates of participating universities took an active part in the work of the International Scientific and Practical Conference. Foreign guests identified urgent problems of both countries and shared their experience in overcoming them under the current conditions. The conference became a dialogue platform for education, science and business.

Doctor of Economics, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Smolensk State University, Honorary Worker in the Field of Education of the Russian Federation,

Member of the Expert Council for Higher Education under the State Duma Committee on Education and Science of the Russian Federation; Smolensk Tatyana Yuryevna Anopchenko. With the report: “Reflection on the future of the economy and society during and after the pandemic.”

Alexander Igorevich Suslov, head of the additional office 5230/0175 of the Stavropol branch of Sberbank of Russia PJSC, Stavropol, with a report: “Anti-crisis measures in Sberbank of Russia PJSC in a pandemic.”

Speakers from the Republic of Kazakhstan aroused particular interest, namely

Aiman ​​Kazbekovna Nurlyguzhieva, General Manager of the Department of DBK-Leasing JSC, Nur-Sultan, Republic of Kazakhstan. The specialist voiced the report: “Financial Strategy and Risk Management Tactics at the Enterprise” and Yerzhan Mina, 1st year graduate student, specialty “Accounting and Auditing” with a report: “Life and work of the Great thinkers and enlighteners Al Farabi and Abay Kunanbaev”, University of Turan -Astana ", the city of Nur-Sultan.

The conference agenda touched upon the following discussion issues: vectors for the development of the future economy and education during and after the pandemic, new trends in the development of the financial sector in the new conditions and the application of anti-crisis measures of banking structures in the context of the transformation of both countries, etc.

During the discussion, the participants of the event expanded their knowledge horizons, exchanged experience and expressed a desire to continue meetings in this format. Based on the results of the scientific and practical conference, an international collection of works will be issued and certificates of participants will be issued.
