Students continue to work at agricultural enterprises in the Stavropol Territory

Members of the MASTEROK student specialized team of Stavropol State Agrarian University continue to work at agricultural enterprises in the Stavropol Territory. As part of the work of the accredited electrical laboratory of the FSBEI HE “Stavropol State Agrarian University” (Registration Certificate А35КУ-00064-18 dated November 16, 2018), the team’s members, together with faculty members, visited 6 agricultural production and processing enterprises in the region.

The working group of the electro technical laboratory includes 20 3-4-year students of the Faculty of Power Engineering who have been trained and have appropriate access groups, who, along with laboratory specialists, took part in carrying out planned work on conducting electrical tests, comprehensive energy examinations of agricultural and industrial enterprises to compile energy passports, declarations and energy conservation programs.

In 2018, the electro technical laboratory of the FSBEI HE “Stavropol State Agrarian University” successfully passed the planned accreditation, within the framework of which the list of permitted types of tests was increased in order to expand the laboratory’s functionality. Such types of tests were added as: thermal imaging control of electrical equipment; testing of insulation strength with increased rectifying voltage with control of leakage current; electrical tests of protective equipment used in electrical installations; test of insulation strength by increased alternating current voltage of industrial frequency.

Since 2018, as part of the work of the electrical laboratory at the faculty, a mobile laboratory “Energy Audit” based on the Volkswagen minivan car appeared.

The “Energy Audit” mobile laboratory is a mobile diagnostic complex equipped with trusted domestic and foreign equipment, and designed to conduct comprehensive energy audits of energy consumption facilities, to monitor the quality of electric energy using specialized equipment and a set of application programs for collecting, transmitting, storing and primary processing of information, conducting electrical tests of electrical installations, as well as assessing the potential for energy conservation with the preparation of a report and the development of recommendations.
