I International Conference “Innovative Informational and Engineering Technologies” (IIET-2020)

The Department of Information Systems of the Faculty of Economics of Stavropol State Agrarian University together with St. Petersburg State University held the I International Conference “Innovative Informational and Engineering Technologies” (IIET-2020).

The event was opened by Irina Vladimirovna Samoilenko, Deputy Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Economics, Ph.D.

Welcoming remarks were made by:

Kolokoltsov Vasily Nikitich, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the University of Warwick, Great Britain

Smirnov Nikolay Vasilievich, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, St. Petersburg State University.

The key speakers were distinguished foreign professors:

Vincenzo Bianco, Professor, Department of Engineering, Energy, Management and Transport Engineering, University of Genoa (Italy)

Christian Bartz, Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

The conference itself was held online on the Zoom platform, the participants' presentations were in Russian and English.

The following sections were held as part of the scientific program of the conference:

Section 2. Engineering. Moderator: Bogdanova S.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Information Systems, SSAU.

Section 3. Modeling and management. Moderator: Zaitseva I.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Information Systems, SSAU.

The conference was attended by 34 educational institutions and organizations: Niigata University (Japan), Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Higher School of Economics, Kazan Federal University, St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, Stavropol State Agrarian University, North - Caucasus Federal University, Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, Belgorod State University, Volgograd State Agrarian University, Vladimir State University, Situation and Analysis Center of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian State Humanitarian University, Omsk State Agrarian University, Southern Federal University, Stavropol Regional Clinical Consulting and Diagnostic Center, Orenburg State University, State University of Mordovia named after Ogarev, Izhevsk State Technical University, Perm State National Research University, Kuban State Technological University, Primorsky State Agricultural Academy and others.

Conference materials will be published in the proceedings of the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, indexed in the Scopus international database. For this, an agreement was signed with IOP Publishing (UK) on the acceptance of articles and further publication. The works were accepted in English, with high demands on the content, design, originality and level of the English language of the text.

The format of the conference allowed us to discuss the most pressing problems and prospects for the development of computer and information technologies, engineering, modeling and control with leading experts not only from Russia, but also from other countries.
