Tax Longid Competition

In the framework of the study of the discipline “Tax Accounting” among 3-year bachelors in the field of preparation “Economics” of the profile “Accounting, Analysis and Audit”, an associate professor of the chair “Accounting and Financial Accounting” Natalya Valentinovna Kulish held a long-term competition. The competition was attended by 11 students.

In a videoconference mode, the developers presented their educational mini-sites, demonstrating their advantages over other sources of information on tax accounting, which make it possible to familiarize themselves in an accessible and understandable way with the formation of the tax base for specific taxes, the preparation algorithm and the timing of tax reporting:

“Corporate profit tax” - Ishkova Alesya, Leonidova Svetlana;

“Value Added Tax” - Nechaeva Lolita, Basova Julia;

“Personal Income Tax” - Julia Krikun, Deshevyh Valeria;

“Property tax of organizations” - Anna Arutyunyan;

“Single agricultural tax” - Kvochkina Svetlana, Shabalova Daria;

“Simplified tax system” - Ekaterina Shurshikova, Ani Arutyunyan.

All sites turned out to be interesting, filled with specific examples, calculations, samples of tax registers, tax return forms, links to the current regulatory framework.

As a result of online voting, the winner of the competition was Ekaterina Shurshikova.

Such a competition allowed its participants to expand the horizons of their knowledge not only in tax accounting, but also in a number of related disciplines, acquire new skills and abilities, gain experience in professional activities. The competencies acquired as a result of the development of longreads significantly increase the competitive advantages of our students.
