The Bank of Russia has launched a special educational program for financial education volunteers. It included a theoretical block (hard skills) and preparation for public speaking (soft skills). The teacher and students of the Agrarian University successfully passed all the stages, as well as the final interview, and received diplomas of a participant in the Bank of Russia program for training financial education volunteers.
Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management and Banking Elena Nikolaevna Lapina and students of the Accounting and Finance Department Milena Atanesyan, Tatyana Zaitseva, Natalya Krivtsova, Ekaterina Likhacheva, Anastasia Murzina have successfully completed training and can now conduct activities in the field of improving financial literacy on behalf of the Bank of Russia.
The program took place in several stages, in particular, a distance course of basic knowledge in the field of financial literacy, consisting of several educational modules. Based on the results of each module, it was necessary to pass testing. The second stage is an introductory briefing “Requirements for Volunteers of Financial Education”, which also ends with testing.
After successfully completing the first two stages - an interview in the territorial division of the Bank of Russia and a workshop in the format of participation in the Bank's activities to improve financial literacy.
The diplomas were awarded by the manager of the Department for the Stavropol Territory of the Southern Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Georgy Alekseevich Tikunov.
