With the advent of spring, agrarians begin a hot season. Students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, as part of student groups, provide support to enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory during the spring field work, and junior courses work on the fields of an educational-experimental farm.
On the territory of the greenhouse-greenhouse complex and the experimental station of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the first and second year students practice, which is an obligatory part of the educational program.
«Teplichnik», created by 1st year students, planted seedlings of white, cauliflower and red cabbage of medium early ripening dates on an area of 0.8 hectares.
It should be noted that vegetable seedlings are grown in the greenhouse-greenhouse complex located on the territory of the experimental station. Thanks to the purchased transplanter, the planting process is significantly reduced, and the created drip irrigation system will allow you to get a decent crop at the end of the season.
