The additional general educational program “Winemaking of the Old World Countries” is a program that reveals the basics of classical European wine production technology. In addition, the course examined the features of beer technology and beer drinks produced in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Georgia and the Kuban.
In connection with the current sanitary and epidemiological situation and in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia, as well as the Order of the Minister of Higher Education and Science, classes were held in a new form of distance learning - online, on the Zoom platform.
According to the approved topics of the program for excursions to the wine regions of the Old World and lecture material on national alcoholic and low alcohol drinks, professional enologist guides presented the students.
The new remote form of conducting classes allowed students to broaden their horizons about winemaking and brewing in the countries of the Old World, travel to the regions and streets of European cities, immerse themselves in the culture and epos of the peoples of other countries.
