The results of the All-Russian student online contest “KonturStart!”, that is annually held for students of economic and humanitarian areas of Russian universities, are summed up.The competition was organized by SKB Kontur JSC, a developer of smart services for accounting and business, which help managers and accountants to cope with daily tasks faster and to interact with the state and contractors easier.
The event was held in an online format in two stages: from March 11 to May 11 and from May 15 to June 1, 2020 on the nominations “Young Entrepreneurs”, “Young Accountants”, “Young Hotel Professionals”.
The competition was held with the support of HeadHunter - one of the largest job search sites in the world.
Students were given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in entrepreneurship, hotel business and accounting. Participants needed to understand specific practical situations, solve real-life scenarios and cases in web services.
In the nomination “Young Accountants”, a 4th year student of the direction of preparation “Accounting, analysis and audit” Svetlana Nezhenets was awarded the diploma of the 1st degree (supervisor – Kulish N.V., Ph.D., associate professor of the Department of Financial Accounting).
Participation in such competitions allows students not only to gain practical skills and acquire new competencies, but also to increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
