Participation of SSAU teachers in a national conference on pressing problems of the modern economy

The All-Russian (national) scientific and practical online conference was held on the Zoom platform. The aim of the conference was to review the practical issues of the functioning of the agro-industrial complex economy during a pandemic, and to discuss the results of studies obtained by scientists and experts in the field of economics.

The professor staff of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy took part in the All-Russian (national) scientific-practical online conference "Modern Economics: Actual Problems, Tasks, Development Path", organized by the Kursk State Agricultural Academy. Thanks to modern technology, all participants in real time were able to meet at a single information platform.

The conference was opened by the acting rector of the Kursk State Agricultural Academy, Doctor of Economics, Professor Ekaterina Vladimirovna Kharchenko. She spoke about the trends in the higher education system in connection with changing geopolitical conditions. High import dependence was named as one of the main problems for the agro-industrial complex sector, especially in breeding and genetic activities, as well as equipping with machinery and difficulties with logistics due to forced restrictions.

The speaker from the Stavropol State Agrarian University was Natalya Nikolaevna Telnova, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and the World Economy. She made the report "Economic evaluation of the introduction of innovations in agricultural production."

The conference was attended by scientists and representatives of the real economy from Kursk, Orel, Kostroma, Kazan, Voronezh, Moscow, Saratov, Bryansk, Krasnoyarsk, Altai Territory. The participants presented development strategies and methods for introducing innovations in agricultural production in various regions of Russia, discussed the prospects of digitalization of the economy, and the possibilities of state support for the innovative development of agricultural production. Particular attention was paid to socio-economic issues related to anti-crisis measures for the population, improving the welfare of citizens, stimulating wages and reducing unemployment.
