The regional stage of the international business game “Beginner Farmer” was held at Stavropol State Agrarian University

The game is organized by the All-Russian youth public organization “Russian Union of Rural Youth” with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and information support from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The goal of the game is to develop the participants’ skills in business planning in agriculture, collecting and analyzing information, developing management decisions and the ability to work in a team.

Stavropol State Agrarian University became a platform for the regional stage, in which 4 teams took part.
For the second (correspondence) stage of the Game, for the evaluation of the work by the international expert council of the competition, 2 teams are recommended:
• Project K (F) X “Vermiferma” of the State Budgetary Educational Institution “Praskoveyskiy Agro-Technological College”;
• Project К (F) Х “Crown” of FSBEI HE Stavropol State Agrarian University
After the absentee evaluation of the works of the winners of the first stage, the best projects will be invited to participate in the third stage, which will take place in the fall of 2020 in one of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Game objectives:
• identification and support of talented youth, as well as their involvement in the development and implementation of business projects aimed at creating and developing agricultural production, supporting rural areas;
• expanding knowledge in the field of economics, business planning and management in agriculture, about the possibilities of organizing a farm and an agricultural cooperative;
• development of personal competencies of the participants of the Game.
Teams of up to 5 people aged 14 to 35 are allowed to participate in the Game from among:
• students of general education organizations;
• students of agricultural professional educational organizations; students, undergraduates and postgraduates of educational institutions of higher education;
• young people with experience of running personal subsidiary plots from 3 years.
