On the Day of Knowledge, the opening of the "Farmer's School" took place at the Stavropol State Agrarian University

The Farmer's School project is being implemented in several regions of Russia, including the Stavropol Territory. Thanks to the training program, regional farmers will have a unique opportunity to acquire a new layer of knowledge and practical skills. The opening was attended by the first "disciples" and guests of honor.

The work was officially started by:

Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov

Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov

Zoya Dmitrievna Tikhomirova, director of the regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC

The entire course of study will last about 2 months. The curriculum of the program is drawn up taking into account theoretical studies, field seminars and practical workshops. The School's work involves three areas: "Sheep", "Vegetable" and "Beef".

Traditionally, the theory includes attending classes on the basis of a specialized regional university - Stavropol State Agrarian University, which will be taught by professors and academicians - university teachers, as well as specialists from Rosselkhozbank.

Lectures are aimed at teaching methods of running a profitable farming, improving financial literacy and acquiring skills in specific areas.

Practical exercises will allow students to personally take part in the conduct of agribusiness and learn from the best practices of agricultural producers. Representatives of big business, farming ambassadors, opinion leaders with success stories who have established themselves in the region for many years will share their knowledge.
