Students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance took the insurance route on Financier's Day

This is the tenth time in Russia that Financier's Day is officially held in 2020. It is well known that financial work requires professionalism, knowledge, responsibility, the ability to think on a large scale and see behind each number of a particular person. This is the competence that students of the Accounting and Finance Department of the Agrarian University receive, which allows them to be in high demand in all areas of the economy.

This year, the teachers of the Finance, Credit and Insurance Department of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the St. Petersburg State Agrarian University together with their strategic partner - a branch of PAO SK Rosgosstrakh - conducted a quest dedicated to the Day of Financier.

The event was attended by finance students who entered the 1st year of accounting and finance faculty.

During the quest, students together with business coaches from Rosgosstrakh Insurance Company - Marina Svidina Evgenyevna and Svetlana Kuzminova - moved through the stations according to the images on the route map, solving various intellectual tasks to be the first to reach the finish line. The guys showed dexterity, endurance and cleverness.

Quest is dedicated to introducing future bachelors to modern knowledge of insurance activities and the basics of the organisation as a whole and its individual links.

The prize places were distributed as follows:

1st place - team "Insurance Pelican" (captain - 1st year student profile "Finance and Credit" Dmitry Gadayev);

2nd place - team "Financier" (captain - 1st year student profile "Finance and Credit" Valeria Sukhorukova).

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. All participants received an excellent charge of vivacity and a sea of positive emotions.

For many years the department "Finance, Credit and Insurance" has been actively cooperating with the branch of PAO SK "Rosgosstrakh" in the Stavropol Territory. The faculty of the department actively participates in the preparation of joint lectures, master classes, business games, and events for the employment of students. Department heads and insurance company specialists, while teaching at the University at the same time as their main job, pass on to students the highest level of professional practical skills in financial work.

The faculty of the Accounting and Finance Department expresses its gratitude to Rosgosstrakh and hopes for further fruitful cooperation.
