One of the main principles of WorldSkills is practice-oriented, the availability of practical skills among graduates is a beneficial advantage in further employment. Stavropol State Agrarian University has become the site of the WorldSkills Russia intra-university championship. 46 participants took part in the competition, in 8 competencies: hotel administration, prototyping, tourism, accounting, banking, internet marketing, finance, freight forwarding. The jury consisted of 68 experts, not only from among the teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, but also outside specialists.
The chairman of the organizing committee of the championship, the rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov addressed the participants and experts with a welcoming speech.
The winners in financial nominations were awarded by Andrey Mikhailovich Bulgakov, chief accountant of the Stavropol regional branch of the Rosselkhozbank joint-stock company.
