Annually the Association of Agricultural Universities of the Russian Federation "Agroobrazovanie" holds an All-Russian review competition for the best organization of work on the development of physical culture and sports in federal state budgetary educational institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Stavropol SAU is traditionally among the best.
According to the results of the competition, Stavropol State Agrarian University was awarded a first-degree diploma in the nomination "The best educational institution for physical culture and sports and mass work with students" and a third degree diploma in the nomination "The best educational institution for scientific and methodological work."
