Tax educational online marathon for students of SSAU

Tax educational online marathon has started at Stavropol State Agrarian University. The first stage has passed - Online lecture on the topic: “The role of electronic resources in the taxation system” for students of the profile “Accounting, analysis and audit”. During the event, the relationship between the concept of information systems and the way they are applied in tax authorities were considered. The most important tasks of informatization of tax authorities, as well as the goals of creating and improving information systems of tax authorities, have been determined.

The speakers were:

· Doctor of Economics, Professor of Stavropol SAU Igor Yurievich Sklyarov

· Deputy head of the department for work with taxpayers of the Federal Tax Service for the SK Maryana Yurievna Frolova.

At the event, students were introduced to the priority tasks in the IT system of the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate for the IC and the ways to solve them:

· Analysis of the economic activity of enterprises in the region;

· Identification of actual and potential tax evaders;

· Development of a regulatory framework for the successful implementation of the activities of tax authorities;

· Analysis of the dynamics of tax payments, creation of a basis for forecasting;

· Checking the consistency of the current legislation and making recommendations for its improvement.

At the end of the event, speakers and students determined that in order to fulfill the tasks of digitalizing the taxation system in the region, it is necessary to constantly improve the IT tools that underlie the Digital System of the IFTS for the IC.
