Employees, graduate students and masters of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources took part in the online presentation of the international project Erasmus + “Improving postgraduate education in the field of sustainable agriculture and agro systems of the future – SAGRIS” as part of the international event Erasmus Days 2020.
The presentation took place online using the Zoom platform. The event presented the history of the project, its idea, goals and objectives, training opportunities, new programs, as well as planned activities to build the capacity of universities in Russia, Kazakhstan and Europe.
The event was opened by the rector of the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Evgeny Rudoy. He greeted all the participants and announced the work plan.
The history of the SAGRIS project was told by its scientific advisor, professor, Dr. Heinrich Schüle (University of Nürtingen-Geislingen, Germany). Description and tasks of the project were presented by Anna Borsuk, manager (University of Nürtinge-Geislingen, Germany) and project coordinator at Novosibirsk State Agrarian University Lyubov Schmidt (Russia).
The participation of the University employees in the development of international educational programs is of great importance, allowing us to expand the range of scientific contacts of scientists, as well as to gain skills in team project activities at the international level.
