The conference is held in a remote format from October 20 to October 24 via video conference on the Zoom platform. It is attended by researchers from leading Russian universities, teachers, postgraduate students of higher educational institutions, representatives of the real and financial sectors of the economy, government agencies. The Chairman of the Program Committee is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexander Alexandrovich Auzan.
At the annual scientific conference of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov “Lomonosov Readings-2020” was attended by lectures of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics Olga Alexandrovna Cherednichenko, Natalya Anatolyevna Dovgotko and Yulia Viktorovna Rybasova. Scientists from SSAU took part in the section of economic sciences, in the discussion of the topic “Economic agenda of the 2020s”.
The panel discussion “Challenges for the global and Russian economies of the 2020s”, which took place on the opening day of the conference on October 20, was attended by A. N. Klepach, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Macroeconomic Policy and Strategic Management, Faculty of Economics, Moscow State University, Chief Economist of the State Development Corporation VEB.RF; Salnikov V.A., Ph.D. in Economics, head of the analysis and forecasting of the development of industries in the real sector, Deputy General Director of the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-Term Forecasting; Gurvich E.T., Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Economic Expert Group, Head of the Center for Budget Analysis and Forecasting, NFI and Mukhin D.A., Ph. D., Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Within the framework of the conference it is planned to discuss 12 thematic areas. Associate professors of Stavropol State Agrarian University presented reports in two sessions of the 10th direction “Sustainable development: new environmental and economic challenges for the 2020s” on October 22. He headed the direction and moderated the session “Environmentally sustainable development and economic challenges for the 2020s” Bobylev Sergey Nikolaevich, Doctor of Economics, Prof., Head of the Department of Environmental Economics, Faculty of Economics, Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov. The session “Sustainable Development Goals of the National, Regional, Local Level” was moderated by Sergey Nikonorov, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Environmental Economics, Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov.
As a result of the conference in December 2020, a collection of scientific articles will be published, which will include publications by SSAU authors on the topic “Implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Russia: Formation of Mechanisms and Measurement Problems” and “Transformation of National Agri-Food Systems Based on the Concept of Sustainable Development Goals: Foreign Experience and Russian realities”, prepared under a grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).
