Rostov-on-Don hosted the district stage of the All-Russian League of Debates in the Southern Federal District, where the Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by the activists of the discussion club "Empire".
On the basis of the Boiling Point of the Don State Technical University, the district stage of the All-Russian League of Debates in the Southern Federal District took place. The tournament was attended by 24 teams. There were three games in total: two qualifiers and one final.
The discussion club "Empire" was represented by the team "Two-faced Janus" represented by the students of the Faculty of Economics of SSAU Artem Degtyarev and Anton Degtyarev.
As a result of the qualifying stage, the students proved their place in the final of the tournament along with three more strongest teams. There was a serious fight for the prizes, as a result of which the representatives of the club took an honorable second place, having received the right to fight at the federal stage of the league in Moscow.
