The task of the Center is to mobilize resources and unite the efforts of various public organizations in the region, directing them to provide assistance to the population of the region, who are in the “risk group”. Among the volunteers are 35 students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
To create a public volunteer center, the Stavropol regional branch of the United Russia Party carried out a lot of operational work: interaction was organized with the Regional Coordination Council to combat the spread of coronavirus infection, and leading public associations and organizations of the Stavropol Territory were involved in joint work.
The volunteers of the Center included 35 students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University and now they have to process applications and help Stavropol citizens who are at risk.
On the basis of the Agrarian University, a meeting of university volunteers was held, which was attended by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexey Fedorovich Lavrinenko and coordinator of the volunteer center Anna Zimina. The guests talked with students and discussed the forthcoming work of the Center.
As well as letters of gratitude for active participation in socially significant activities to help citizens in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, two students of SSAU were noted. These are Ivan Bashkatov (Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization) and Evgeny Basov (Faculty of Accounting and Finance).
