I All-Russian Championship in Financial Literacy

The awarding ceremony for the finalists of the 1st All-Russian Championship in Financial Literacy took place at the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory.

Head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking, Professor Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova took part in the awarding ceremony for the finalists of the I All-Russian Championship in Financial Literacy, held at the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory.

The awarding ceremony was attended by:

· Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of the Stavropol Territory - Larisa Anatolyevna Kalinchenko.

· Coordinator of the financial literacy program in the Stavropol Territory - Nadezhda Ivanovna Gerasimenko.

The 1st All-Russian Championship in Financial Literacy is being held within the framework of the Project of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development "Assistance in increasing the level of financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation."

In total, more than 450 school teams from 15 regions participating in the championship took part in the competitions of the main stage of the championship: Altai Territory, Arkhangelsk, Volgograd, Voronezh and Kemerovo regions, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk and Penza regions, the Republic of Kalmykia, St. Petersburg, Saratov region, Stavropol Territory and Tomsk region.

The qualifying tournaments were attended by 9 teams of educational organizations of the Stavropol Territory: secondary school №20 in Nevinnomyssk, gymnasium №103 in Mineralnye Vody, MBOU secondary school №16 p. Kazminsky, secondary school №6 in Stavropol, secondary school №4 in Mikhailovsk, secondary school №4 "p. Moscow, Secondary School No. 1 in Pyatigorsk, Secondary School No. 12 in Essentuki, "Education Center" Kislovodsk.

According to the results of the qualifying tournaments, the following reached the final of the regional stage of the Championship: Secondary School No. 20 in Nevinnomyssk, Secondary School No. 6 in Stavropol, "Education Center" Kislovodsk. And according to the results of communication and financial tournaments, the team of Secondary School No. 6 in Stavropol became the finalists.
