Final of the regional scientific and practical conference "Innovative ideas of the youth of the Stavropol Territory - the development of the Russian economy", held within the framework of the UMNIK program of the Federal Fund for the Promotion of Innovati

The North Caucasian Federal University hosted the Regional Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative ideas of the youth of the Stavropol Territory for the development of the Russian economy", as part of the program of the Federal Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere "Participant of the Youth Scientific and Innovative Competition" which will determine the winners of the federal program "UMNIK".

For the first time, a scientific and practical conference was held in a remote format, but this did not prevent the participants from presenting worthy projects and protecting their developments.

The guests of honor took part in the official opening. The contestants were addressed by:

Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kuzyakova, Head of the Representative Office of the Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere in the Stavropol Territory, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor;Anton Borisovich Sorokin, head of the UMNIK program group of the Federal Fund for the Promotion of Innovations;

Anton Borisovich Sorokin, head of the “UMNIK” program group of the Federal Fund for the Promotion of Innovations;

– Chairman of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory;

Ivan Ivanovich Kovalev, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Stavropol Territory;

Larisa Anatolyevna Kalinichenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Stavropol Territory – Minister of Finance of the Territory;

– Dmitry Nikolaevich Bespalov, Rector of the North Caucasus Federal University.

The commission comprised leading scientists of the region, including representatives of the Stavropol State Agrarian University:

Dmitry Valerievich Shlaev, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Andrey Nikolaevich Kvochko, Head of the Department of Physiology, Surgery and Obstetrics, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor;

Victor Ivanovich Marchenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Egor Vladimirovich Kulaev, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Igor Nikolaevich Vorotnikov, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Automation and Metrology, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Olga Vladimirovna Dilekova, Head of the Department of Anatomy, Pathological Anatomy, Parasitorology and Veterinary Medicine named after Professor S.N.;

Maksim Alekseevich Mastepanenko, Dean of the Faculty of Electricity, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Sergey Vasilievich Dorozhko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Throughout the day there was an open online defense of 50 projects in 7 areas: “Digital technologies”, “Medicine and technologies of health preservation”, “New materials and chemical technologies”, “New devices and intelligent production technologies”, “Biotechnology”, “Resource-saving energy” and “Transition to the second year”.

"UMNIKI" of the Stavropol State Agrarian University defended 15 projects.

The results of the competition and its winners will be announced by the Directorate of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology in December 2020.
