Cultivation of viruses on chicken and quail embryos has recently become widespread as one of the simplest and most reliable methods for the cultivation and diagnosis of many viruses and some bacteria. That is why it is important that the future veterinarian has the skills to work in this direction.
In the course of laboratory research, 3rd year students received the skills to infect chicken embryos in the laboratory, got acquainted with the equipment of the laboratory of the department, carried out preparatory measures necessary for further diagnostic studies.
Doctor of Veterinary Science Nadezhda Arkadyevna Ozheredova focused on the need for laboratory tests in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules.
