Scientific work is one of the main areas of work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Today our university has high indicators: a young team works at the university, the average age of the teaching staff is 39 years. 94% of scientific and pedagogical workers have an academic degree and title, of which 25% are doctors of sciences - this is one of the best indicators among Russian universities.
The online seminar "Preparation and design of scientific articles in journals indexed in international scientometric databases: recommendations for authors" was prepared by Olga Nikolaevna Shmatko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the University History Museum.
Doctor of Economics, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Alexei Bobryshev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
The seminar was attended by the teaching staff, as well as young people who are actively interested in science.
The speaker talked about recommendations for the preparation and formatting of scientific articles, the legal protection of these works, the choice of a scientific journal, citing and compiling a list of references, international styles of citation and DOI value for authors.
The information was useful both for staff and for students, undergraduates and postgraduates.
