Stavropol residents in the Final of the All-Russian competition "Agronti-2020".

The aim of the competition is to involve educational organisations located in rural areas in working on the technological priorities of the National Technology Initiative. The competition is conducted by the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations together with the non-profit organisation "Association of Educational Institutions of Agriculture and Fisheries" with the support of the Department of Scientific and Technological Policy and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

Kazan hosted the final of the All-Russian competition among students of general educational institutions in rural settlements and small towns "Agronti-2020". The final stage was held in a remote format among the winners of regional sites of Kazan GAU, Bashkir SAU, Volgograd SAU, Perm GAU, Samara SAU, Saratov SAU named after N.I. Vavilov and Stavropol SAU.

Prizes were awarded to two schoolchildren from the Stavropol Territory:

- Agrometeo" - 2nd place Arshak Vareljian BOOU Lyceum No. 104, Mineralnye Vody;

- "Agrokosmos" - 3rd place Valery Semenov, Orbit CMIT, Izobilny.

Teachers and lecturers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University worked with the children:

- Agrocopters" - Sergey Anikuev, associate professor of the department of electrical engineering, automation and metrology;

- Agrorobots" - Dmitry Gritsay, Head of the Department of Machinery and Technology of the Agricultural Sector, Associate Professor;

- "Agrometeo" - Vera Lysenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Soil Science named after Professor V.I. Tulpanov;

- Agrocosmos - Marina Melnik, Assistant Professor at the Department of Land Management and Cadastre.
