he webinar was organised by Vostock Capital, one of the leading consulting and conference organisers in Russia, the CIS, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
The event, which was attended by leading experts from Russian horticultural enterprises, discussed problems and prospects for the development of the horticultural industry. Special attention was paid to the features of organic horticultural production. Sergei Korshunov, Director of the Union of Organic Agriculture, spoke about the state of the legal framework for organic production.
As you know, one of the components of organic crop production technology is the use of a biological system of protection, to which a specialist from Andermatt Biocontrol AG (Switzerland), Alina Piven, gave a presentation. It is impossible to achieve high efficiency in modern horticulture without an efficient storage system for the resulting harvest. Modern fruit storage systems and modes of operation were covered in the report of the head of a large European company specialising in fruit storage, A.L.B. Consulting by Patrick Terzer.
During the event, students expanded their knowledge about the peculiarities of organic fruit and vegetable production, as well as the regulatory framework for its registration and sale.
