Farmer's School is a federal project aimed at increasing professionalism in the agro-industrial complex. In the Stavropol Territory, the School was implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, the regional branch of the Russian Agricultural Bank and the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The training lasted 3 months, during this time 22 listeners took part in lectures and seminars, as well as visited the production sites of the project integrators, where they could personally take part in the work of agricultural machinery and adopt the best practices of leading agricultural producers.
The listeners of the first stream of the Farmer's School learned the methods of running a profitable farming, increased the level of financial literacy, and received practical skills in specific areas.
The graduation ceremony brought together "students" and guests of honor. The students received their diplomas of the Farmer's School from Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov - Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor and Irina Anatolyevna Leonova - Deputy Director of the Stavropol branch of Russian Agricultural Bank JSC.
The Farmer's School is a unique project of theoretical and practical training for farmers, which will allow not only building an effective farming business from scratch, but also improving the qualifications of entrepreneurs who have already started their business.
In the Stavropol Territory, training at the Farmer's School was conducted in three directions: "Sheep breeding", "Vegetable breeding", "Breeding and sale of cattle". Productive training became possible thanks to the professionalism of the teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the care of the staff of the regional branch of the RAB and the support of the program partners.
The most distinguished listeners were awarded grants from the agro-industrial holding "Eco-Culture", the lucky ones were: Natalya Vladimirovna Voronina and Amiran Habidovich Zanilov.
In the second part of the closing ceremony of the Farmer's School, the “graduates” were addressed with parting words:
• Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov, Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory;
• Ivan Vyacheslavovich Atanov, Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Professor;
• Igor Vladimirovich Yatsuk, Deputy Director of the Stavropol Regional Branch of JSC Russian Agricultural Bank.
As the guests noted, training with high results became possible thanks to classes with teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University and practicing specialists of the Stavropol regional branch of Russian Agricultural Bank JSC and project integrators, who conducted training in methods of running a profitable farming, improving financial literacy and practical skills in specific areas. The project partners were:
• agro-industrial holding "Eco - Culture"
• group of companies "Damate"
• group of companies "Agrico"
The result of the work was not only the acquired knowledge and diplomas, but also specific business ideas. As part of the closing ceremony, the presentations of the best projects of the students of the educational project "Farmer's School" were defended:
- direction "Vegetable growing" - Natalya Vladimirovna Voronina presentation "Organization of year-round cultivation of vegetables (tomatoes) in greenhouses"
- direction "Sheep breeding" - Roman Dzhebrailovich Kostoev
presentation "Organization of production and feeding of small ruminants by the stall method"
- direction "Cattle" - Albina Magomedovna Omarova
presentation "Organization of a dairy farm for 50 heads of dairy herd"
The ceremonial part ended with a dialogue between the audience and the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov. The listeners put forward for discussion proposals for improving the efficiency of small businesses.
The event ended on a solemn and joyful note - the appearance of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.
