Starting from the new year in the Stavropol Territory, it is planned to launch a target program related to the chemical reclamation of alkaline soils. In the region, the issue of soil salinization is very acute, so many farms are showing interest in this program.
Two farms have been selected for the pilot project in the region:
- PFE Sabynin Gennady Konstantinovich;
- SC AFC "Terskiy".
Under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, Dridiger V.V. at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, a meeting was held on issues related to the work on phosphogypsum soils in agricultural organizations of the region.
To date, the experience of phosphogypsum has been carried out at SC AFC "Terskiy". The experiment was carried out in close cooperation with the FSBEI HE "Stavropol State Agrarian University" and LLC "PhosAgro-Stavropol".
It should be noted that experiments on phosphogypsum are also planned in 2021 on the basis of the PFE "Sabynin G.K." in close cooperation of the agrochemical center with "EurochemTrading Rus" LLC and "Agrotekhnologii" LLC, in terms of design, phosphogypsum supply and leasing of equipment.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Professor Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko.
During the meeting, a clear understanding was developed on how to build work in this direction in 2021. The event was held in a discussion order, where Alexander Nikolaevich made proposals for carrying out gypsum plastering of soils in the Stavropol Territory.
