Participation of the Economics Faculty in the foreign conference "Innovative Ideas in Science 2020 (Bosnia and Herzegovina)".

The annual conference INNOVATIVE IDEAS IN SCIENCE 2020 was organized by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Northern Center of the University of Baia Mare (Romania), the Independent University of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten (Germany).

The event is held for the sixth time, previously it was held annually at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, this year the distance format was chosen on the basis of the Independent University of Banja Luka. The participants of this event were scientists from different parts of the world - China, India, USA, Germany, Croatia, Serbia and other countries. The representative from Russia was Irina Vladimirovna Samoilenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Economics, Stavropol State Agrarian University. The purpose of the conference was to provide an opportunity for scientists, researchers and other participants to discuss new achievements and concepts in science, discover and continue to develop new directions of research, approaches and innovative solutions in a constantly developing world. The main scientific areas for discussion were applied mathematics, electronic engineering, computer technology and information systems. The participants also discussed the epidemic situation in their country, the forms of organizing distance learning at their universities and expressed their opinion on the impact of conducting classes with students in a virtual format on the education system as a whole.

Participation in foreign conferences allows to acquire international relations with new partners for further cooperation in research projects, academic mobility and joint educational programs.
