Crop Condition Workshop

 Under the leadership of the head of the agrarian department of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov, a working meeting on the state of crops was held. It was attended by: · Director of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "North Caucasian Federal Research Center" Valery Vladimirov Kulintsev; · Acting Director of FGBU GTSAS "Stavropol" Vasily Pavlovich Egorov; · Elena Alekseevna Batagova, Head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "State Sort Commission" for SK; · Head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhlztsentr" in the SK Andrey Yuryevich Oleinikov; · Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko. The selector discussed the current state of winter crops in the fields of the Stavropol Territory, and also gave recommendations on the formation of the harvest in 2021. One of the key topics of the meeting was the moisture reserve in the soil. The selector also raised the issue of the phytosanitary state of crops and monitoring of mouse-like rodents. Among the main crop diseases, gibellina was isolated. Experts urge farmers to start preparing for the fight against crop diseases in winter, preventing development by spring. Another topic of discussion was the increase in the area sown with seeds of domestic breeding of such crops as sugar beet, corn and sunflower.
