A group of young specialists from the Stavropol State Agrarian University is working to create a unique technology for operational navigation for tourists in rural tourism facilities with an optimal logistic route scheme and complete information about the service system and associated infrastructure of destinations.
The research was carried out within the framework of the project-educational intensive – this is a new format of training from the University at 20.35, which includes project activities and educational activities at the educational requests of the participants of the intensive. Under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Services and Tourism – Ivan Ivanovich Ryazantsev, a team of young scientists worked on the project of a mobile application «FuRal» (the future belongs to rural tourism).
– Today, rural areas are in a state of crisis, – young scientists argue. – The reasons are different: the mass «flight» of young people due to the lack of jobs, the lack of prestige of living in a village, where, as a rule, rural tourism is poorly developed. Therefore, the idea of creating a special mobile application is directly related to the task of creating an attractive image of the village. Students are confident: the mobile application will motivate the villagers of the Stavropol Territory to create a recreational base for tourists. And this version will also become very interesting and as meaningful as possible: in it you can find not only all existing excursions around Stavropol, eco-routes, information about hotels and guest houses, the presence of ethnic villages, receive notifications (for example, about ongoing folk craft fairs), but and create your own profitable travel product for a multi-age audience.
The main argument of young scientists of the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism: there is practically no rural tourism on the territory of the Stavropol Territory. This application motivates local authorities to work on the attractiveness of the territory. The application is guaranteed to provide them with a large influx of customers, which means it will help to replenish the budget.
Now the research has been completed, the data is being processed. Already in 2021, a team of young specialists intends to start developing the FuRal mobile application «FuRal».
