The portal «Univexpert — Academic Critic» has compiled a rating of agricultural universities, in which the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the best among the educational institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
When conducting the rating of universities «National Recognition» the experts of the univer.expert portal proceeded from the fact that the university – is people, faculty, scientific and pedagogical workers.
In the course of the rating, the total expert potential of universities was assessed, equal to the sum of expert assessments of all teachers and researchers affiliated with them. The Hirschindex was taken as a unit of measurement, calculated over the entire set of scientific publications indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). This allows you to get a balanced assessment of the professional recognition of each employee of the university.
The general ratings were compiled by categories of universities: classical universities, technical, agricultural, medical, pedagogical, socio-economic, legal and humanitarian universities.
The TOP - 10 Agrarian Universities are headed by the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
