The 2021 sports season began with the Winter Championship of the Stavropol region in athletics. A student of the Agrarian University won a silver medal at the competition.
145 athletes from 10 districts of the Stavropol region took part in the competition. There are 14 teams in total. The championship was played in 14 disciplines of athletics.
Activist of the student sports club “Kolos”, student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture Yana Starodubtseva took 2nd prize in the discipline “Javelin throw” with a result of 47.02 m.
