Round table "State and development prospects of the tourism industry during COVID-19"

As part of the celebration of the Day of Russian Science, the Department of Tourism and Service, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of Stavropol Territory, organized a round table on the topic: "The state and prospects for the development of the tourism industry during the COVID-19 period."

Dean of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism, Ivan Ivanovich Ryazantsev, in his welcoming speech, expressed gratitude to those present and guests for their participation in the event and contribution to the development of service and tourism.

The guest of honor - Igor Vladimirovich Bolotov, head of the tourism resources promotion department of the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of Stavropol Territory, spoke about the situation in the tourism industry in Stavropol Territory in connection with the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.

The moderator of the round table was Anna Grigorievna Ivolga, head of the Department of Tourism and Service, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism for scientific work, associate professor. At the event, the staff of the Department of Tourism and Service - V.S. Varivoda, Yu.M. Elfimova, assistants I.D. Shakhramanyan and A.G. Stroeva presented reports.

Students of 1-4 years of study, studying in the area of Service, Tourism and Hospitality, took an active part, asking interesting thematic questions.
