Science Slam is a battle of scientists, a scientific battle. They tell about the main scientific ideas of our time and their own scientific research. Each slammer has 10 minutes to convey his idea in a witty, accessible and interesting way, and the audience determines the best. At the moment, classic slams are being held in 20 regions. Stavropol State Agrarian University organized the first slam between agricultural universities.
The first agricultural Science Slam confronted the flagships of agricultural education in the intellectual ring: Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev. Each university was represented by two scientists with current projects.

Maksim Anuprienko - postgraduate student of the first year of study at Stavropol State Agrarian University, ex-chairman of the student council of SSAU, commissar of the headquarters of student groups Agrarii. At Science Slam, Maksim answered the urgent question of the modern world: is the plastic future awaiting us, or has it already come?
Igor Devederkin - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Electricity Application in Agriculture, SSAU, Candidate of Technical Sciences. The topic of Igor's speech is related to the development of an electromechanical system for generating electricity in small wind turbines.
Alexander Stadnik - representative of the RSAU-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, winner of the competition for a scholarship of the Government of the Russian Federation in priority areas, as well as in the course for a personal scholarship of the rector. At Science Slam, Alexander put all the dots on the i's on the issue of safe operation of the machine and tractor fleet.
Alexander Kompaniets - RSAU-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, the topic of Alexander's speech at Science Slam is connected with electroozoning during the purification and separation of milk.
Each slammer had 10 minutes to perform, then in real time the audience asked the scientists questions. After the speeches, an interactive voting started, as a result of which the representative of SSAU, Igor Devederkin, became the winner.
Young scientists and spectators liked the unusual format; both sides expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation in the field of popularizing science among young people.
