Under the leadership of Nikolai Timofeevich Velikdan, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Stavropol Territory, a meeting on the readiness of Stavropol Territory agro-industrial complex for spring field work and the implementation of measures of the state program of the Russian Federation "Integrated Development of Rural Areas" was held on the basis of the North Caucasian Federal Research Center.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of Stavropol Regional Duma Gennady Yagubov, Deputy of the State Duma of the All-Russian political party "United Russia" Alexey Fedorovich Lavrinenko, members of the Stavropol Territory government, heads of district administrations, heads of agricultural enterprises, scientific agricultural centers and the dean of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture of SSAU, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yesaulko Alexander Nikolaevich.
Roman Vladimirovich Nekrasov, Director of the Department of Plant Growing, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, addressed the guests with a welcoming speech in the videoconferencing mode.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory Vyacheslav Viktorovich Dryiger spoke about the readiness of agricultural enterprises of Stavropol Territory for spring field work and the assessment of the state of winter crops in the current year.
In the speech of Valery Vladimirovich Kulintsev, Director of the North Caucasian Federal Research Center of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution, the peculiarities of the development of winter grain crops in the autumn-winter period were noted, forecasts for the formation of the harvest in 2021 were announced, and recommendations were given on maintenance measures during the spring field work.
The head of the FSBI "Stavropol Regional Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring" Kravchenko Nelly Anatolyevna presented data on the forecast of weather conditions for the beginning of spring field work, and the head of the branch of the FSBI "Russian Agricultural Center" for Stavropol Territory Andrey Yuryevich Oleinikov made a report on the phytosanitary state of winter crops grain crops and preparation for protective measures.
Vasily Pavlovich Yegorov, Acting Director of the Stavropolsky Agrochemical Center, reported on the moisture supply of crops and the use of mineral fertilizers in accordance with the content of nutrients in the soil.
At the end, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory Oleg Aleksandrovich Yurchenko spoke about the implementation of the measures of the state program of the Russian Federation "Integrated Development of Rural Areas" in 2021 and plans for 2022-2024.
All speakers in their reports noted the difficult weather conditions of the current year for the development of winter crops due to low reserves of productive moisture in the autumn-winter period. As of February 9, only 70% of the sown area showed sprouts of winter crops, the condition of which is assessed as satisfactory and poor, which causes fears of the farmers of the region.
During the meeting, a clear understanding of problematic issues was developed and a strategy for the implementation of the goals and objectives was developed.
