At the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, science has a special place: providing optimal conditions and supporting young scientists in the field of fundamental scientific research. All our strength is in science, and the achievements of scientists will lead humanity to a new level of life, increasing its quality. For the Day of Russian Science, webinars were held online, participants and organizers of which were the leading teachers of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection and Ecology and Landscape Construction.
Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Plant Protection, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Natalya Nikolaevna Glazunova and Herbicide Portfolio Manager for Russia and the CIS, EfEmsi LLC, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Anatoly Sergeevich Voloshchenko told about the role of the company to the 4th year students of the Agronomy direction.
In the course of his speech Anatoly Sergeevich did not miss the historical events, as well as the current state of the world company EfEmSi LLC. He introduced to students the range of chemical and biological means of protection, innovative technologies and products of the company, new scientific world developments in the field of plant protection.
The webinar aroused great interest among students. In the end, many questions were asked about employment in the company, about the demand for their products on the world market and in Russia, about biologization in plant protection systems.
Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction, Candidate of Biological Sciences Svetlana Vasilievna Okrut held a round table with 4th year students of the direction "Ecology and Nature Management", profile "Nature Management" of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture on the topic: "Year of Science and Technology: Topical Issues of Modern Ecology".
During the round table, global environmental problems were discussed. Students Orekhova T., Postnikova I., Klimenko A. made reports on the results of the analysis of the current state of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere.
Student M. Lazarishin made a presentation on the review of the application of new technologies to solve environmental problems. A. Galkina's presentation showed the connection between the scientific and technological revolution and the ecological crisis.
During the discussion, issues of implementing resource-saving innovations were discussed. The participants expressed the opinion that the main innovations in ecology are associated with the development of technologies, methods of waste processing, as well as technologies that reduce pollution.
Summing up the results, it was noted that all the reports aroused interest of the round table participants.
Annual conferences of this kind of young and promising scientists in different fields are held with the aim of discussing current issues, seeing their shortcomings and flaws in modern scientific activity, and also sharing the latest developments.
