Day of Russian Science at the Department of Foreign Languages

Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism took an active part in holding events timed to celebrate the Day of Russian Science.

Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages held a presentation competition "Achievements of Modern Science" for students of agricultural engineering fields of training. First-year students took part in the competition with pleasure, prepared interesting presentations and made reports on the latest achievements of modern science and remembered a number of unique names and scientific discoveries that played a significant role in the development of mankind.

The staff of the Department of Foreign Languages also conducted an interactive lesson in the format of a quiz "History of Russian Science" for students of technological areas of training. Students demonstrated deep knowledge of the topic and high interest in scientific activities in the field of training. At the end of the quiz, the students took part with interest in a discussion about the future of Russian science in general and the agricultural sector in particular.

Roza Vladimirovna Chvalun, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, organized and conducted a competition of presentations about the great Russian scientists-linguists for students of the preparatory department who study Russian at our university. The event took place at the preparatory department of our university. Students from Egypt presented small reports about Russian scientists who contributed to the development of the great Russian language. According to the results of the competition, students were awarded commemorative certificates.
