I Intellectual games “Science is the nourishment of youth”

The lectures of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education conducted the I Intellectual Games “Science is the nourishment of youth”. All faculties of Stavropol State Agrarian University were invited to participate. The jury consists of deans, lectures and university administration.

As in any competition, the results of the game were assessed by the members of the jury:

Alexey Nikolaevich Bobryshev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Doctor of Economics, Professor;

Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko, Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources and the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor;

Maksim Alekseevich Mastepanenko, Dean of the Faculty of Electric Power, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina, acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics, Doctor of Economics, Professor;

Elena Ivanovna Kostyukova, Dean of the Accounting and Finance Faculty, Head of the Department of Management Accounting, Doctor of Economics, Professor;

Oksana Sergeevna Gavrilova, dean of the faculty of secondary vocational education, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor;

Gennady Gennadievich Shmatko, Head of the Department of Processes and Machines in Agribusiness, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

The games were held in the format of a tournament of erudites. The teams competed in three rounds:

- a business card (the participants had to introduce their team in the university community; for this, video dating was prepared, in which they told about their faculty and profession);

- creative task “Dream Project” (each team was offered a picture with the image of a natural object, and they had to present a project from the proposed materials or a model of its application in practical life);

- blitz-erudite (the team members were offered blitz-questions for general erudition, within 1 minute it was necessary to give the maximum number of correct answers).

At the end of the game, all team members were presented with personalized participation certificates, and prizes were distributed as follows:

3 place - the faculty of secondary vocational education;

2 place - Faculty of Economics;

1 place - Faculty of Electricity.

The People’s Choice Award went to the team of the Power Engineering Department.
