V open regional championship “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Arkhangelsk region

On February 15-19, 2021, in the Arkhangelsk Region, with the support of the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Arkhangelsk Region, the V Open Regional Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) of the Arkhangelsk Region was held.

The championship was held in 20 basic (age category 16-22 years) competencies and 5 junior competencies (age category 14-16 years old) at 9 sites in 4 municipalities of the Arkhangelsk region. The platform for the competence “Hotel Administration” was GAPOU JSC “Arkhangelsk Trade and Economic College”. Anna Grigorievna Ivolga, head of the Department of Tourism and Service of Stavropol State Agrarian University acted as a certified expert in the Hotel Administration competence.

During the three main competition days, all participants demonstrated professional knowledge and skills in completing tasks. At the reception, the participants competed in the following modules: “Check-out and booking”, “Check-in of guests and wolkin”, “Helping guests during their stay” and “Extraordinary situation in the hotel”. The assignments were carried out in English and Russian. The experts evaluated the appearance, correctness, correctness of assignments and paperwork, as well as the empathy of the participants.
