Advanced training for managers of the agricultural machinery sales department

At the Stavropol State Agrarian University, managers of the agricultural machinery sales department of Kubanzheldormash JSC (Armavir city), organized by the Institute of Continuing Professional Education of the SSAU, underwent advanced training. By order of the employer, an additional professional training program was developed "Basic principles of soil cultivation with the basics of technology for cultivating agricultural crops and the system of agricultural machines used."

Classes were conducted in full-time with the use of e-learning by teachers of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources and agricultural mechanization in the three main modules of the program.

During the training, the students learned:

· a brief arrangement of machines for the main, pre-sowing and inter-row soil cultivation,

· applicability (interchangeability), calculation and completion of the machine-tractor unit,

· main types of soils in the North Caucasus region,

· features of approaches to their processing, a system of soil cultivation in crop rotation based on the principle of different depths, taking into account zonal features,

· the effectiveness of the use of various innovative methods of processing on the main types of soils of the North Caucasus region (plowing, Strip-till, No-till),

· biological characteristics and technology of cultivation of agricultural crops (soybeans, rapeseed, corn, sugar beet, sunflower).

The final stage of the training was an offsite lesson at the educational and experimental farm of the university, where the students got acquainted with agricultural machinery, basic principles of soil cultivation, discussed analogues of the working bodies of soil cultivating machines of the Russian Federation and Europe, the technology of cultivation of agricultural crops and the system of agricultural machines used, visited the greenhouse complex of SSAU.

After successfully passing the final certification, all participants received a certificate of advanced training in the established form.
