Participation in a meeting on agrochemical support of spring field work

At the Palace of Culture of Chemists in Nevinomyssk, at the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, a meeting was held "Agrochemical support of spring field work, early spring feeding of winter cereals and the specifics of its implementation in 2021 in the Stavropol Territory."

The participants included: the Ministry of Agriculture of the Territory, departments of agriculture and environmental protection of administrations of municipal districts, heads and specialists of agricultural organizations, peasant (farmer) enterprises, scientific organizations, federal institutions, companies-suppliers of mineral fertilizers.

At the opening of the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov addressed the participants with an introductory speech and noted the importance of continuous monitoring of the state of crops and high-quality provision of spring field work.

According to the program, Andrey Yuryevich Oleinikov, Acting Head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Russian Agricultural Center" in the Stavropol Territory, made a report on the phytosanitary state of winter grain crops this year. Head of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Evgeny Valerievich Golosnoy spoke about the peculiarities of early spring feeding of winter wheat in various soil and climatic conditions of the Stavropol Territory. Vasily Pavlovich Egorov, director of the FSBI SCAS "Stavropolsky", raised an important question about the agrochemical support of spring field work in the harvest of 2020.

Professor Evgeniya Ivanovna Godunova, doctor of agricultural sciences, the head of the laboratory of soil ecology of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "North Caucasian Scientific Agrarian Center", reported on the dynamics of the state of winter wheat crops. She provided information on the state of plant development in all districts of the Stavropol Territory.

Summing up the results of the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture of the region Vladimir Sitnikov thanked the scientific community of the region for their active work and assistance. The head of the agrarian department emphasized that the further effective development of winter cereals is possible only with a responsible and comprehensive approach of workers of agricultural organizations, farms and scientific institutions.
