The banking economy affects everyone living in a modern metropolis - almost everyone uses plastic credit or debit cards in shops or saves personal money in the bank. However, it is sometimes difficult for students to understand the specifics of any particular banking product. A Sberbank business trainer spoke to the students about the realities of today's banking system.
Marina Agaurova, Sberbank's business trainer, held an online lecture on the topic "The bank's product range". The aim of the online lecture was to form a professional outlook and cognitive interest in the content of the academic subject, as well as professional motivation of the future specialist. In the course of the lecture the students learned about the ways of identifying customers' needs, about the characteristics of banks' product lines, about the methods of classification of banking services and types of banking products.
Using the opportunities offered by the Sberbank Teaching Lab, professors from the Financial Management and Banking Department helped students put the knowledge they acquired during the lecture to the test.
The speaker noted that the banking system is an important part of the economy of every modern state, the demand for commercial bank services is growing and the penetration of banking services in the masses continues. This all determines the increasing need for personnel in this area and the relevance of the profession of "Banking Specialist".
A specialist from a partner company shared her practical experience of working in a bank, which gave the students an opportunity to learn more about their future profession.
