Russian Scientists met at the “Round table”

Syngenta, the largest producer of plant protection products and seeds of field crops, held a traditional “Round table” with the participation of leading Russian scientists and advanced farms of the Southern regions, where current problems were discussed. Representatives of the Kuban, Stavropol and Rostov regions discussed the physiological state of winter wheat crops in connection with the issues of early spring fertilizing and assessed the phytosanitary risks of the current growing season.

The delegation of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the Round Table. The meeting was held in the resort town of Gelendzhik.

The meeting ended with the adoption of a joint resolution, including recommendations for winter wheat care, depending on the physiological state of the crops, which can be found on the pages of the agricultural newspaper "Land and Life", which traditionally covers the work of the Round Table of scientists in the Southern region of Russia.
