First meeting of the project "Improving postgraduate education in sustainable agriculture and future agro-systems

FSBEI of Higher Education"Stavropol State Agrarian University" as a member of the international consortium of universities became a member of the international Erasmus + programme and will participate in the project 610383-EPP-1-2019-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (2019-2086) "Improving Postgraduate Education in Sustainable Agriculture and Future Agricultural Systems" - SAGRIS.

The project aims to solve problems in the field of training of scientific and pedagogical personnel according to international quality standards and aims to increase knowledge in the field of sustainable agriculture and future agro-systems, a topic of national, interregional and international importance.

Coordinating meetings of the module developers in a pandemic environment were held remotely.

For the first time during the project period, an off-line meeting was held at the Buryat State Agricultural Academy. The meeting was attended by representatives of Novosibirsk State Agrarian University, Arctic Agrotechnological University, Stavropol State Agrarian University and Buryat State Agrarian Academy.

Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by professors from the Departments of Agrobiology and Land Resources and Ecology and Landscape Architecture: Elena Drepa, Olga Lobankova, Julia Bezgina, Valentina Ivashova

During the meeting the heads of the modules presented the developed templates and discussed the current issues concerning the development of teaching materials within the modular groups.

Within the module groups there was an online meeting with foreign partners of Kazakhstan and European countries on the content and programmes of training block-seminars.

As the project is related to the development of sustainable agriculture and agro-systems of the future the representatives of the partner universities presented the state of the problem in the context of their region.
