While working in the Buryat State Agricultural Academy named after V. R. Filippov on the SAGRIS project "Improving postgraduate education in the field of sustainable agriculture and agrosystems of the future", Associate Professor of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Department Olga Lobankova and her colleagues - Agafya Platonova from (Arctic SATU) and Inga Ryumkina (Novosibirsk State Agrarian University) visited the Agronomy Faculty.
The scientific topic of the Department of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the BSSA is "Genetic and biogeochemical features of soil fertility of the Baikal region and the development of agrochemical methods for optimizing the mineral nutrition of agricultural crops". It includes the study of genetic properties, biogeochemical features and soil fertility of the Baikal region, ecological and agrochemical efficiency of complex organo-mineral and microfertilizers. The same problems are studied by the departments of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of our University, which opens up wide opportunities for cooperation between scientists.
